Prevalence of Back Pain

You may already know the significant impact that back pain has on Americans. For example:

     • An estimated 80 percent of Americans will experience at least one episode of back pain during their lifetime
     • Lower back pain is the most common cause of disability in people under age 45

Sources: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and The Spine Journal

Chances are good that you or someone you love will experience significant back pain at some point. When that happens, remember that early intervention is key and SpineCare's unique, comprehensive approach can help prevent long-term disability.

Return to Work Philosophy

If an employee was injured at work, we work closely with the employee and employer to manage the case effectively and efficiently. As with any patient, we strive to help them to return to work as soon and as safely as possible and to prevent long-term disability. Our rehabilitation team emphasizes work conditioning and readiness. We can also offer advice and recommendations on changes or modifications to a patient’s work station that will help ensure long-term success for everyone.
