At the Froedtert & Medical College Cancer Center, a multidisciplinary-team approach gives gynecologic cancer patients every advantage possible. State-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment options, including participation in clinical trials, are provided. An entire team of experts follows each patient from screening to diagnosis, treatment and after-care.
Dr. Denise Uyar, Dr. William Bradley and Dr. Janet Rader, gynecologic oncologists, provide diagnosis and appropriate surgical treatment. The gynecologic cancer team also oversees chemotherapy within the Cancer Center rather than spending patients elsewhere for that portion of treatment - a unique provision in this community.
The gynecologic cancer team also includes Dr. Beth Erickson, a radiation oncologist at the Medical College of Wisconsin, along with experts in radiology and pathology. The gynecologic cancer team meets weekly to discuss all aspects of patient care and plan the best course of treatment for each patient.
