Dr. Gregory J. Griepentrog is a fellowship-trained, board-certified Ophthalmologist who specializes in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery (also known as oculoplastic surgery or oculoplastics). This area includes medically-necessary eyelid surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, orbital and lacrimal (tear duct) diseases and surgery, and thyroid eye disease. Dr. Griepentrog is a Milwaukee native, who completed his medical degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and ophthalmology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He served as a faculty member at the Mayo Clinic before returning to the University of Wisconsin-Madison to complete a two-year fellowship sponsored by the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) and the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS). Dr. Griepentrog strives to provide highly professional, caring, and compassionate care, and he looks forward to the opportunity to serve you.
