The pediatric orthopaedics division, housed at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, treats all varieties of pediatric orthopaedic problems resulting from congenital or traumatic causes. Our physicians also practice at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin Clinics - Greenway location.
Its staff physicians are especially trained and experienced in treating club feet and other pediatric foot deformities; scoliosis; congenital hip problems; and neuromuscular problems such as spina bifida, cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy. They employ a number of new approaches and technical innovations in treatment such as leg-lengthening (Ilizarov technique).
Children's Hospital offers a number of multidisciplinary clinics: Spina Bifida, Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Bone Dysplasia, and Hemophilia. These facilities assure expert, coordinated care and convenience for both the parent and child.
The new Children's Hospital building is located on the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center campus, adjacent to the Froedtert Hospital and the Medical College of Wisconsin.
