The Department of Otolaryngology and Communication Sciences has a broad educational mission serving:
- Medical students
- Residents (15 over a five year training period)
- Pre- and post-doctoral research students
- Practicing physicians (courses and symposia)
- Community outreach
- Regional and national presentations

Our program is based at the Medical College of Wisconsin, a large private university that serves Milwaukee, the state of Wisconsin, as well as surrounding states. Residents rotate through the university hospital service that is based at Froedtert Hospital, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, and Zablocki VA Medical Center.
