Welcome . . .

The subspecialty of otology, neuro-otology, and cranial base surgery focuses on diseases of hearing, facial nerve, and balance disorders as well as related structures. By the nature of associated diseases and disorders, there are close multidisciplinary interactions between numerous groups including neurosurgery, neurology, radiology, audiology, and physical and occupational therapy.

David R. Friedland, MD, PhD, leads the Division of Otology, Neuro-otology, and Cranial Base Surgery. Both medical and surgical care is provided, and the practice is based at the Froedtert Hospital and the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
