CME Grand Rounds

Welcome to the Medical College of Wisconsin, Department of Pathology Continuing Medical Education Grand Rounds page.

The Medical College of Wisconsin is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.  Participants may only claim the actual number of hours he or she attended.

The Department of Pathology recognizes the need for educational activities that can be measured by comparing the level of understanding and knowledge of the participants with that published in the standard medical literature and against that of their peers during the educational exercise.  Our department is consistently looking for innovative ways to appropriately encourage residents and students to pursue careers in subspecialties of Pathology.

Learning Objectives:

1. To maintain and improve professional skills and knowledge of MCW faculty, community pathologists and clinical laboratory specialists.
2. To enhance the understanding of clinical and basic medical research.
3. Appreciate how medical knowledge is acquired, evaluated and disseminated so as to be able to critically analyze current medical issues and future advances.
