Dr. Behnaz Behmaram graduated from Tehran University, School of Medicine. She did her residency at Downstate Medical School in New York, and at the Yale University Affiliated Hospitals in New Haven, CT. After her residency, she had a Surgical Pathology Fellowship in Harford Hospital, Harford, CT. She is Board certified in Anatomical and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP) with subspecialty certification in cytology from the American Board of Pathology and International Board of Cytopathology.
She has a special interest and expertise in Gynecology Oncology Pathology and member of Gyn-Oncology Group. Currently she is the designated pathologist for GYN pathology at Medical College of Wisconsin. In addition she is involved in all other aspect of pathology especially GI and cytopathology. She is especially interested in teaching and is actively involved in teaching of medical students and residents.
