Dr. Osipov graduated medical school from the Military Medical Academy of Saint Petersburg, Russia in 1998. This was followed by a pathology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin (1999-2003) and a surgical pathology fellowship with special emphasis in bone and soft tissue pathology and gastrointestinal pathology at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN in 2004. Dr. Osipov joined the faculty at the Medical College of Wisconsin as an Assistant Professor of Pathology in 2004.
Dr. Osipov's main interests lie in the surgical pathology, molecular pathology and cytogenetic aspects of bone and soft tissue sarcomas, as well as the expression of proliferation proteins and oncogene expression, including p53, in pre- and post- irradiation sarcoma.
