Dr. Rao’s major service responsibilities are in the fields of pulmonary and urological surgical pathology, and in cytopathology. He also has administrative responsibilities as Director of Cytopathology, which include overseeing the cytopathology laboratory as well the cytopathology fellowship program. His teaching responsibilities include didactic lectures in pulmonary pathology for post-sophomore medical students and lectures for pathology residents and fellows in pulmonary, urologic and cytopathology. He also teaches urologic and pulmonary pathology to urology and pulmonary medicine fellows respectively.
