Shannon Rathke, MD
Medical School: University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health
Year of Graduation: 2006
I am a native of Milwaukee and love it here. The residency program here at MCW provides many great learning, research and teaching opportunities. I’m married and my beautiful kids make me smile all the time.
I received my B.S. in biomedical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where, among other activities, I participated on the collegiate water-ski team. I attended the University of Wisconsin for medical school as well. I then spent two years at Indiana University in a combined Emergency Medicine/Pediatrics residency program before I “saw the light” and switched to pathology. I enjoy being involved in teaching sessions for the second year medical students. Outside of medicine, I enjoy devoting time to my family and church and being outside as much as possible.
If you have any questions about the residency program or Milwaukee, please do not hesitate to contact me!
