 Education Curriculum

Codes Committee Meeting  Required monthly review and discussion of hospital-wide resuscitations on a case-based format. Primary goals are understanding pathophysiology of resuscitation and identifying and addressing systems issues between different hospital areas, etc.  Additional goals include review of selected topics and appreciation of physician's role in overseeing code response team with in the hospital setting.
Administrative Meeting  Required monthly meeting directed by one of the fellows under the supervision of the Fellowship Director and the Section Chief.  The objective is to learn and practice administrative and leadership skills, focusing on issues that impact the fellowship.   

Fellows' Meeting

Monthly forum to discuss issues relevant to the  fellowship with the Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship Director.  
Other Committee Meetings     Second- and third-year fellows may be appointed to a committee relevant to their clinical or research interests by the Section Chief or Fellowship Director. 
Other administrative responsibilities Fellows are responsible for making their own call schedule and the transport physician schedule. They are responsible for arranging the Clinical Didactic curriculum.
