We want to create a warm and friendly atmosphere in which our residents can work, so social gatherings are part of the calendar year. Activities include:
The intern retreat is a two-day opportunity for relaxing, sharing experiences and getting to know fellow interns better. Two-day retreats also are provided for the PL-2 and PL-3 classes. In addition, throughout the year, tickets are available to major sporting events and performing arts. Besides the formal social functions, there are numerous social functions arranged by the residents and the Resident Social Committee. Graduation, the culmination of your time at Children's Hospital, is held in June with the awarding of certificates to PL-1s and PL-3s. We would like you to visit Children's Hospital and talk to the residents. We are sure you will find exceptional morale, in part due to the many social programs we offer.
