Welcome to the Division of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine

The Division of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine was recently rated among the 10 best pulmonary groups in the nation by Child magazine.  The division provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for common to complex conditions:

  • Asthma
  • Cystic fibrosis
  • Chronic cough
  • Recurrent pneumonia
  • Bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD)
  • Infant apnea
  • Congenital lung abnormalities
  • Congenital and acquired airway problems
  • Neuromuscular respiratory diseases
  • Chronic respiratory failure/insufficiency  (tracheostomy/home ventilation)
  • Pulmonary sleep disorders
  • Pediatric lung transplant

We also provide evaluation and management of children with respiratory and non-respiratory or behavioral sleep disorders. 

Each year, we see more than 4,000 outpatients at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin main campus and another 2,500 inpatients at the Hospital's main campus.

Our patients receive comprehensive care from our pulmonary and sleep physicians, advanced practive nurses, nutritionists and social workers. We are committed to providing outstanding patient care, instructing young physicians and nurses, and researching pulmonary diseases and treatments. All physicians are board certified or board eligible in pulmonary or sleep medicine.
