David Wyatt Seal is an Associate Professor and Qualitative Methods Core Director at the Center for AIDS Intervention Research in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He is a social psychologist who specializes in qualitative methodology. Dr. Seal’s research explores individual, interpersonal, and contextual influences on emotionally and sexually intimate communication, decision-making, negotiation, and behavior. He is also involved in the development and implementation of HIV and STD prevention intervention research with incarcerated populations, couples, young men who have sex with men, and at-risk heterosexuals.
