Dr. Cassidy received an MS in Biostatistics and a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Pittsburgh, Graduate School of Public Health. She was previously an Assistant Professor of Biostatistics at the University of Pittsburgh and is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery. Her research interests include pediatric surgical outcomes, trauma, registry development in addition to identification and evaluation of risk factors and treatment of pediatric patients.
