Ruta Brazauskas received her PhD from the Division of Biostatistics in the Department of Population Health at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Brazauskas joined MCW faculty after working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science at Marquette University. Her collaborators included researchers from the School of Dentistry and Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Engineering Center at Marquette University. Current working relationships are established with investigators in the Institute for Health and Society and Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research. The focus of her methodological research is on survival analysis and competing risks theory. Dr. Brazauskas is Vice-President of the Milwaukee Chapter of the American Statistical Association. In 2012, she received the Graduate Student Association's Teacher of the Year Award for her exceptional teaching in Biostatistics.
