Graduate Education

The Department of Population Health sponsors five graduate programs and one certificate program enrolling approximately 200 graduate students each year.  These programs include:

  2.  The Doctorate in Public and Community Health is designed to transform the research paradigm in public and community health by educating a new generation of innovative researchers.  Visit the PhD in Public & Community Health site for more information or contact Ellen Servais, Program Manager, at (414) 456-5754.
  3. The Master of Science in Epidemiology is taught by an interdisciplinary graduate group stressing quantitative skills in population-based research as applied to risk assessment and the measurement of patient outcomes for purposes of developing clinical strategies.  Visit the Epidemiology site for more information or contact Christopher Edwards, Program Coordinator, at (414) 456-8230.
  4. In Fall 2009, a new Master of Science in Clinical and Translational Science will be offered. This degree will be research focused with three concentrations: Epidemiological Outcomes, Translational Research and Commercialism.

  6. The Master of Public Health is a unique distance-education graduate program designed to meet the needs of working health-care professionals or those with a bachelor’s degree, who are interested in public health.
