Office of Research

The Office of Research is an integrated resource for facilitating scientific discovery through administrative support of investigators, education and training, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Technology Transfer

Office of Technology Development is responsible for managing the discoveries, inventions, and other intellectual property assets of the Medical College of Wisconsin, advancing these discoveries from Patents to Patients.

Research Resources

This guide for investigators has been developed by the Office of Research to provide information on all aspects of conducting research at the Medical College of Wisconsin, from starting up a study to searching for funding opportunities, to applying for grants and obtaining regulatory approvals, to acquiring necessary training to maintaining compliance, and finally how to transfer or close out your studies.

Research Centers

College faculty direct or collaborate on approximately 3,000 research studies, and more than 1,300 scientific papers by College faculty are published in peer-reviewed medical journals. Studies are conducted in 27 academic departments and the following centers.

The Office of Research is comprised of integrated Units which provide administrative support for investigators and research staff. A new and innovative infrastructure to support and advance education, collaboration, and research in clinical and translational science.

MCW Libraries

The MCW Libraries provide access to information to promote the Medical College of Wisconsin's goals of improving the quality of patient care, education, research and community service. The Libraries are also responsible for the development and implementation of E-Learning platforms and oversight of instructional computing laboratories.
