The MCW International Travelers Clinic is located at the Froedtert East Clinic, Suite 1996. Patient counseling visits are currently scheduled Monday through Friday 9 AM to 4 PM. The clinic provides prospective travelers with pre-travel health counseling along with any immunizations or medications needed to stay healthy while traveling abroad.

The clinic is an official state designated yellow fever vaccination site and in addition provides a broad range of travel immunizations including vaccines for typhoid fever, hepatitis A, meningitis, Japanese encephalitis, and rabies. Medications are prescribed for the prevention of malaria, motion sickness, altitude sickness, and for the treatment of travel associated diarrhea.

Travelers are provided with country information sheets containing up to date information on the health hazards of each country they plan to visit. A computer program that we developed called TRAVAX is utilized to ensure that all required and recommended vaccinations are offered to the patient specifically for their planned itinerary.
