CME and Grand Rounds
The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine Grand Rounds presentations are held at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare, Wauwatosa, which is located at 201 N. Mayfair Road, 5th floor, from 8-9 am on Wednesday mornings. Click here to view the most current Grand Rounds schedule.
MCW is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Participants may only claim the actual number of hours he or she attended.
We provide a variety of CME activities, including the Psychiatry Department Grand Rounds, which runs weekly from September through June, the Master Therapist Series, and the Door County Summer Institute. The latter is a series of week-long continuing education seminars held each July and August in Wisconsin's spectacular Door County. All of our programs are designed to maintain and enhance the clinical skills and knowledge of mental health and health practitioners.
Psychiatry Grand Rounds is recommended for psychiatrists, psychologists, residents, nurses, medical students, social workers, and other mental health professionals.
This advanced program highlights the latest information in the diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders and the newest research areas in clinical psychiatry.
MCW uses EthosCE as our Continuing Medical Education software platform. With EthosCE, you can view and print CME transcripts and certificates at any time, complete evaluations and quizzes online, and register for upcoming CME activities.
Registration in EthosCE is mandatory for anyone who attends and wishes to receive credits for CME programs at MCW.
