Elizabeth Nilsson, MD
Elizabeth Nilsson, MD is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Nilsson attended Concordia University of Wisconsin and then worked as a registered nurse prior to attending the Medical College of Wisconsin for medical training. She then completed a psychiatry residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Nilsson is board certified in General Psychiatry.
Dr. Nilsson provides patient care services at the Clement J. Zablocki Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI where her focus is on treatment of acute mental health conditions of veterans in the inpatient setting and is privileged in electroconvulsive therapy. She also enjoys teaching residents and medical students and serves as Associate Program Director for the Adult Psychiatry Residency Program.
