George Lind, MD
George Lind, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He is an Associate Program Director for the Adult Psychiatry Residency Program. Dr Lind is a graduate of Stanford University, Stanford, CA where he completed his undergraduate studies with distinction. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Medical School, and did his training in Internal Medicine at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee Clinical Campus. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, and practiced Internal Medicine for 25 years before returning to do his Psychiatry residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin, graduating in 2009. He is board certified in Psychiatry. Since then he has been a faculty teaching attending, first at the Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Division, and currently at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center. Dr Lind has been a teaching attending on the inpatient Psychiatry Unit since 2011. He has twice received the Jon Gudeman Golden Apple Teaching award.
Dr Lind's main interest is in the teaching of Psychiatry residents and medical students. He is also a didactic lecturer in the residency program.
Dr Lind's practice is confined to the VA Medical Center inpatient Psychiatry Unit.
