Jill S. Klayman, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Klayman attended University of California Santa Barbara for her undergraduate training. She received her Masters and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology at University of Connecticut, and completed her clinical internship at the Long Beach VAMC. Dr Klayman completed a post-doctoral fellowship in pain management at University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in New York.
Dr. Klayman is Clinical Director of the Rehabilitative Pain Management program at the Zablocki VAMC. She also coordinates that facility’s multi-disciplinary Pain School and Mental Health’s Pain Self-Management Clinic. Her clinical practice serves veteran patients who experience chronic pain and other somatic symptoms.
Dr. Klayman enjoys teaching and professional development as well as providing clinical supervision for psychology, psychiatry and other medical residents/fellows. She is the 2009 recipient of an Outstanding Service Award given by the Patient and Family Education Council at the Zablocki VAMC. She has academic and clinical interests in pain management and mind-body medicine. Recent presentations include:
