Jon A. Lehrmann, M.D.
Jon A. Lehrmann, MD, is the Charles E. Kubly Professor in Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine, and Professor and Interim Chair in the Department of Psychiatry at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Lehrmann attended the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his residency training in psychiatry at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Dr. Lehrmann does his clinical work and is the Co-Division Manager of the Mental Health Division at the Zablocki Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Dr. Lehrmann has received several teaching awards, including three annual Golden Apple Faculty Teaching Awards, for which a residency class selects one faculty member. He was also honored with the Department's Distinguished Service Award in 2008 and 2009, and the Healthcare Foundation of New Jersey's first annual Humanism in Medicine Award in 2000. Dr. Lehrmann's academic interests include resident and medical student education, feedback in education, resident recruitment, conflict resolution and negotiation, Veteran Mental Health and Veteran Mental Health Care Systems.
