Michael McBride, M.D., M.S.
Michael McBride, M.D., M.S. is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry based at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical center. He received his medical degree, general psychiatry residency training, and child and adolescent fellowship education at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Upon completion he joined the private practice of Milwaukee Psychiatric Physicians Chartered where for ten years he treated patient of all ages, particularly enjoying the work of family therapy and school consultation. Currently, Dr. McBride serves a variety of roles at the VA Medical Center including the Local Recovery Coordination, outpatient treatment, and care of veterans in the residential treatment program. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and the treatment of returning combat veterans are his present areas of interest.
