Suraj Pal Singh, MD MRCPsych MSc (Clinical Neuropsychiatry) is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin and an Attending Psychiatrist at the Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Division, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr. Singh is an Associate Program Director for the Adult Psychiatry Residency program and attended the Government Medical College, Patiala, India, for his medical school training. He completed his post-graduate training in Psychiatry in the United Kingdom and obtained the membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, London, UK. Dr. Singh has also obtained a Masters in Clinical Neuropsychiatry with Distinction, from the University of Birmingham, Birmingham, UK. He subsequently completed his Adult Psychiatry Residency Training at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.
Dr. Singh has won the Best new research award by the American Psychiatric Association (APA) in 2012, for research in identifying biomarkers in children of Alzheimer’s patients using functional Neuroimaging.
Dr. Singh’s academic interests include psychopharmacology particularly in first episode psychosis and psychiatric aspects of neurological disorders. Dr. Singh sees patients through inpatient and crisis services at the Milwaukee County Behavioral Health Division, Milwaukee, Wisconsin."
