A snapshot of new information in the development of medical education campuses in Central Wisconsin and Green Bay
Save the Date: Sept. 25, 2014: MCW-Green Bay and Bellin College will jointly present Amy Blue, PhD, Associate Dean for Education Affairs at the University of Florida College of Public Health and Health Professions and Associate Vice President for Interprofessional Education. Her presentation will focus on best practices for operationalizing Interprofessional Education opportunities into the MCW-Green Bay curriculum. More details to come.
A June 19 meeting addressed Graduate Medical Education (GME) planning in Green Bay. Strategic Reimbursement, Inc., a financial consulting firm, presented results of a GME financial analysis of hospital systems in Green Bay. In addition, the search firm of Isaacson Miller presented the search process for recruiting a Family Medicine Program Director / Director of GME in Green Bay.

A new project work group launched in May. The new Curriculum and Faculty Development subgroup on Educational Technologies will develop plans for evaluating and testing technology used in delivering educational services across the two campuses, and will explore new educational technologies for the community campuses.
