15th annual Women’s Health Conference planned for April 26
April 19, 2013 College News - The 15th annual Women’s Health Conference will be held on Friday, April 26, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield Hotel, 375 S Moorland Rd, Brookfield. This activity is intended for practitioners who provide care for women. This would include obstetricians, gynecologists, internists, family practitioners, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, certified nurse midwives and registered nurses.
Education objectives of the conference include:
To discuss the impact of chronic disease in outcomes of pregnancy, surgery and general health of women
To be familiar with updates in the general guidelines in the treatment of sexually transmitted infections recommended by the Center for Disease Control (CDC)
To address quality of life of women in the presence of various chronic conditions.
