Annual meeting for the RERC on Technologies for Children with Orthopedic Disabilities to be held in Milwaukee
Oct. 11, 2013 College News - The annual meeting for the Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center (RERC) on Technologies for Children with Orthopedic Disabilities (Tech4POD) will be held in Milwaukee on Thursday, Oct. 17, in conjunction with the annual meeting of the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine (AACPDM). The meeting, which runs from 1-3:30 p.m., will be at the Wisconsin Center (formally the Delta Center).
Tech4POD is a collaboration of the Medical College of Wisconsin, Marquette University, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, the Milwaukee School of Engineering, the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, and Shriners Hospitals-Chicago, and is funded through a $4.75 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education.
The meeting will include presentations by the lead investigators from the collaborating institutions on each of the Tech4POD research and development projects. This meeting is open to the public.
