Bergstrom Automotive hosts Drive for a Cure to support MCW Cancer Center

Aug. 10, 2012 College News - On Friday and Saturday, Aug. 17 and 18, Bergstrom on Victory Lane in Appleton will host Drive for a Cure, a two-day event to support breast cancer research at the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center. Last year, this two-day event raised more than $46,000.

A special fleet of 100 Bergstrom vehicles including BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Lexus, Volvo, Land Rover, Acura, Audi, MINI, Infiniti, Fiat and more will be available for anyone to test drive (21 years of age or older).  For each mile driven, Bergstrom will donate $1 to the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center.

Complimentary food and refreshments will be available for all participants. Contributors will receive a commemorative t-shirt and an opportunity to win great raffle prizes including a convertible for a month, a Clay Matthews autographed jersey, a Coach McCarthy autographed football, a Coach Buzz Williams autographed basketball and more.

Bergstrom on Victory Lane is located at 3023 Victory Lane in Appleton, which is off exit 139 on Hwy 41 & 15. Vehicles can be test driven between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. either day.  Additional information is available on the dealer’s Web site.
