Bryon’s Run to Cure Paralysis on Oct. 6 to benefit College’s spinal cord injury research programs
Sept. 26, 2013 College News - The annual Bryon’s Run to Cure Paralysis is being held Sunday, Oct. 6, at Carroll University in Waukesha. Proceeds from the event go to the Bryon Riesch Paralysis Foundation, which has pledged $1 million to the Medical College of Wisconsin to support spinal cord injury research and establish The Bryon Riesch Paralysis Foundation Laboratories.
Bryon Riesch received an honorary Doctor of Humanities degree from MCW in 2011 and serves on the Neuroscience Center Advisory Board.
Registration begins at 8 a.m., and the run/walk begins at 9 a.m. The course is located on the streets surrounding Carroll University. Everyone is welcome to participate. Registration is $25 per person or $60 per family; slightly more if you register on the day of the event.
