Jan. 03, 2013 College News - The Celebrating Brad Foundation will exhibit a special collection of art on the second floor of the Swig restaurant, 217 N. Broadway, on Jan. 18 and 19 as part of Gallery Night. Artists will display a variety of work in mixed media/collage, photography, graphic design, watercolor, oil painting, and various type of screen prints (monotypes, lithography).
All of the art on display served as the design for greeting cards that will be sold online and also during Gallery Night to benefit the Celebrating Brad Foundation, a nonprofit that was established in memory Bradley Germata, an artist who lost his life to cancer in 2009 at age 26. Celebrating Brad supports cancer research at the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center.
