Feb. 27, 2013 College News - E. Brooke Lerner, PhD, Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine, received the Keith Neely Outstanding Contribution to EMS Award from the National Association of EMS Physicians (NAEMSP). She was presented the award at the association’s annual meeting last month in Florida.
Dr. Lerner was recognized for her service to EMS in a variety of capacities. These efforts, according to the NAEMSP, transformed our knowledge of trauma triage and EMS medicine, and allowed her to become a role model and mentor to countless young EMS clinicians and researchers. The association went on to state that Dr. Lerner’s research helped make EMS more evidence based and progressive.
The Keith Neely Outstanding Contribution to EMS Award is presented to an active member of NAEMSP who has provided significant leadership to the association.
