Sept. 25, 2012 College News - Ileen Gilbert, MD, Professor of Medicine (Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine), recently received the Addis Costello Award from the Wisconsin Chapter of the American College of Physicians (ACP).
The Addis Costello Award is given by the Wisconsin Chapter of the ACP in memory of Dr. Costello, a Milwaukee physician leader who worked tirelessly to publicly define and channel collegial effort to deal with the socioeconomic concerns affecting the practice of internal medicine.
This award is given to active internists for their diligent efforts or achievements in the socioeconomic aspects of medical practice.
