Dr. J. Frank Wilson to receive Distinguished Service Award from Milwaukee Academy of Medicine
Oct. 05, 2012 College News - J. Frank Wilson, MD, Chairman and Bernard & Miriam Peck Family Professor of Radiation Oncology, has been selected to receive the Milwaukee Academy of Medicine 2012 Distinguished Achievement Award. Dr. Wilson will receive his award on Tuesday, Oct. 16, at the University Club.
As part of the event, Dr. Wilson will give a presentation titled, Radiation Oncology in Milwaukee: Forty Year Perspective Through the Lens of Breast Cancer.
The Milwaukee Academy of Medicine’s Distinguished Achievement Award is given in recognition of outstanding contributions to the advancement of knowledge and practice of medicine by a Wisconsin physician.
The University Club of Milwaukee is located at 924 East Wells Street. The Oct. 16 meeting begins at 6 p.m. with a cocktail reception, an informal dinner at 6:30 p.m. and awards and presentation at 7:30 p.m. Reservations are required.
