Dr. Kulwinder Dua honored for service by national organization
May 12, 2014 College News - Kulwinder S. Dua, MD, was recently honored by the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) for his service in the society’s Ambassador Program. Dr. Dua was honored at the Crystal Awards Ceremony held during the annual Digestive Disease Week meeting in Chicago.
Through the ASGE Ambassador Program, Dr. Dua periodically trains gastroenterologists located overseas in advanced therapeutic endoscopy.
Dr. Dua is Professor of Medicine and Director of the advanced endoscopy training program in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and Section Chief of Gastroenterology at the Clement Zablocki VA Medical Center. He is internationally known for his expertise and research in interventional GI endoscopy.
