Dr. Kulwinder S. Dua elected President of Dysphagia Research Society
March 20, 2014 College News - Kulwinder S. Dua, MD, was recently elected President of the international Dysphagia Research Society at its 22nd annual meeting in Nashville, Tennessee. The Dysphagia Research Society is a multi-disciplinary society focused on advancing the science of swallowing.
Dr. Dua is Professor of Medicine and Director of the advanced endoscopy training program in the Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Medical College of Wisconsin and the Section Chief of Gastroenterology at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center. He is internationally known for his expertise and research in interventional GI endoscopy and in studying the mechanisms of airway protection.
