Riccardo Colella, DO, MPH, Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine, has been appointed by Governor Scott Walker to serve on the Wisconsin Department of Health Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Advisory Board. The EMS Advisory Board provides recommendations directly to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
Statutory duties of the EMS Advisory Board include making recommendations to the department on general EMS issues assigned by legislation or raised by members of the public, periodically reviewing and making recommendations on rule changes, provide recommendations to the department on the funding assistance program and reviewing and/or recommending any mandated reports.
