Aug. 05, 2011 College News - Stanley Lo, PhD, Associate Professor of Pathology, was elected President-Elect of the National Academy of Clinical Biochemistry: the Academy of the American Association for Clinical Chemistry. The academy is dedicated to advancing the science and practice of clinical laboratory medicine through research, education, and professional development. It publishes Laboratory Medicine Practice Guidelines for the application of clinical biochemistry to medical diagnosis and therapy. Upon completion of his one-year term, which began Jan 1, he will become President of the academy in 2012.
