Dr. Stephen Gauld named James Klinenberg Scholar of the Arthritis National Research Foundation

Nov., 08, 2012 College News - Stephen Gauld, PhD, Assistant Professor of Pediatrics (Allergy, Asthma and Clinical Immunology) and Microbiology and Molecular Genetics, has been named the 2012 James Klinenberg Scholar by the Arthritis National Research Foundation (ANRF). 

This award was established in honor Dr. James Klinenberg, a founding member of the ANRF Scientific Board, past president of the American College of Rheumatology, and a world-renowned researcher and clinician in rheumatic diseases.  The award is given annually to the ANRF grant recipient whose work most exemplifies the qualities of Dr. Kleinberg and his research. 

Some of the previous honorees have been Robert Colbert, MD PhD from the National Institutes of Health Intramural Research Program; Maida Wong, MD, from the University of California – Los Angeles; and Hee Kap Kang, PhD, from Northwestern University.
