Drive Fore a Cure Golf Outing on July 14 to benefit MCW cancer research
April 24, 2014 College News - The ninth annual Drive Fore a Cure Golf Outing will take place Monday, July 14, at the Westmoor Country Club in Brookfield, with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Proceeds from this event will support hematologic malignancy (blood cancer) research at the Medical College of Wisconsin, including the work of Parameswaran Hari, MD.
Dr. Hari, Armand J. Quick/William F. Stapp Professor of Hematology, Director of the Adult Blood and Marrow Transplant Program (BMT) at Froedtert Hospital and Section Head of Hematologic Malignancies and Transplantation, in the Division of Hematology and Oncology in the Department of Medicine at Medical College of Wisconsin, will be the featured speaker at the dinner, which begins at 5:30 p.m.
The event is organized by Dennis Bush, a lymphoma cancer survivor. To date, it has raised nearly $160,000 for cancer research at MCW.
Registration is $300 per person or $1,100 per foursome. Non-golfers can attend the dinner only for $100. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
