Get a jump start on Breast Cancer Awareness Month at Boston Store’s Pink Shop
Sept. 10, 2013 College News - Bon-Ton Stores, Inc., parent company of Boston Store, is opening its annual “Pink Shop” early this year, on Sept. 18, providing additional time to purchase items that benefit breast cancer research. In the past, this promotion has taken place only during October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
This year, the Pink Shop will be open from Sept. 18 through Oct. 31. An array of specially-selected items will be available, including fashions, home décor, cosmetics and a $10 exclusive pink mixing tumbler, which can be used to make flavored drinks and protein shakes. Bon-Ton Stores makes a donation toward breast cancer research for each item purchased. Items can be purchased in stores or online at www.bostonstore.com.
Two other Bon-Ton promotions that support breast cancer research:
Charge Against Breast Cancer (Bon-Ton makes a donation to breast cancer research each time you use your Boston Store credit card year-round); and
Purchase of a $5 Community Days booklet, designating the Medical College of Wisconsin breast cancer research program as the recipient. The booklet contains more than $400 in special in-store and online coupons that can be used at the Boston Store and other Bon-Ton stores on Nov. 15-16. The entire $5 purchase price benefits the MCW Cancer Center.
The proceeds from the Pink Shop and Charge Against Breast Cancer promotions are split evenly between the MCW Cancer Center and four other cancer facilities in the United States. To date, MCW has received approximately $700,000 for breast cancer research from Bon-Ton Stores.
