Getting There Fair to offer info on alternative methods of transportation during construction

Oct. 24, 2013 College News - The Milwaukee Regional Medical Center campus-wide Getting There Fair will be held at various locations in the coming weeks to provide information on a new Alternative Transportation program aimed at helping relieve congestion on the roads around campus. The program is a result of the transportation survey conducted this past summer.

Options available that will be discussed at the fair include:

  • Carpool
  • Park and ride shuttle service
  • Bike Buddy
  • Commuter Express Service
  • Milwaukee County Transit System

Also, as part of the program, emergency rides home will be made available for every option.

The fair will be held:

  • Oct. 24, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin second floor landing, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Oct. 29, Froedtert Hospital cafeteria, 12-6 p.m.
  • Nov. 7, MCW cafeteria lobby, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
