J&B Hackerfest Golf Outing on July 13 to benefit MCW Cancer Center
May 20, 2013 College News - The 21st annual J&B Hackerfest Golf Outing will take place on Saturday, July 13, at the Rivermoor Golf Club in Waterford, Wisconsin, with a shotgun start at noon. Proceeds from the event will support brain tumor research at the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center.
The event is held in memory of David Jansen, who died from a brain tumor in 1994, and is organized by his high school friend, Gary Bolskar. To date, it has raised nearly $27,000 to benefit MCW brain tumor research.
Registration is $125 and includes 18 holes of golf (greens fees and cart), lunch, dinner, beverages and prizes. For $10, non-golfers can join the group for dinner at 5 p.m.
