Judie Bernarde Cancer Golf Outing to benefit MCW Cancer Center
Aug. 01, 2014 College News - The 9th annual Judie Bernarde Cancer Golf Outing for Cancer Research will take place on Saturday, Sept. 6, at the Edgewater Golf Club in Grafton. Registration and a self-serve lunch begin at 11 a.m., followed by a 1 p.m. tee-off. Proceeds from the event will support breast cancer research at the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center.
The event is held in memory of Judie Bernarde, who died from breast cancer in October 2005. It is organized by her friends and fellow Harley-Davidson motorcycle riders. To date, it has raised more than $50,000 to benefit breast cancer research at MCW.
Registration is $60 and includes golf (greens fees and cart), lunch, dinner and prizes. For $40, non-golfers can join the group for a social hour and dinner beginning about 5 p.m.
