  2. As part of the final stages of the installation of new gas lines, We Energies will be performing a controlled release of small amounts of natural gas on Oct. 14 & 22. This is a safe and normal part of the process. During an approximate 3 hour window on each day, two locations – Wisconsin Avenue & Robertson Avenue; and Milwaukee County Power Plant at Watertown Plank Road – natural gas odorant may be detected. If you have any concerns regarding this or any detection of natural gas odor, please call the We Energies 24 hour hotline at 800-261-5325. We Energy staff will be on site monitoring the process.

Focus group on Oct. 16 – input wanted from people who use travel apps
There’s an app for that!  Or, there will be soon with your help!  Milwaukee Regional Medical Center is developing a travel app to assist patients, visitors and staff with their travels during the Zoo Interchange construction in 2014.  We are interested in talking with individuals that use mobile traffic/navigation apps (Such as Google maps, INRIX, Waze, etc.) to ask how you use these apps, the pros and cons of the app you use, and any general feedback on why you chose the app. The information you provide will help shape the travel app currently under development.

The focus group will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 16, from 12-1 pm in the Children’s Corporate Center, Second Floor, Room 220. Bring your own lunch and dessert will be provided! Please RSVP to:  jtimm@mrmcffl.org.
