Lectureship fund created to honor Dr. Carrie Falk
August 26, 2013 College News - Earlier this month, the Department of Emergency Medicine hosted a memorial service in honor of Dr. Carrie Falk, who died July 14 from metastatic melanoma at age 31. More than 100 faculty, residents and staff attended in addition to Dr. Falk’s family.
To honor Dr. Falk’s memory, the Department of Emergency Medicine has created the Carrie Falk, DO Memorial Lectureship Fund. With your support and with the endowment, we hope to fund an annual lecture open to the entire campus that will focus on issues surrounding cancer and end-of-life care.
Your contribution to honor the work and life of Dr. Falk would be most appreciated. Questions about the memorial can be directed to Chris Roche, Assistant Director of Annual and Special Giving, in the Office of Development, 955-4705 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
