MACC Fund offers many ways to support pediatric cancer research this holiday season

Nov. 20, 2012 College News - The MACC Fund (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer, Inc.), the College's largest donor, has two items for sale this holiday season to raise money for pediatric cancer and related blood disorder research. All money raised from the sale of these items benefits the MACC Fund.

  1. TODAY’S TMJ4 MACC*STAR ornaments, designed by a child who has benefited from MACC Fund-supported research, are $10 plus shipping and handling.
     
  2. The 2013 Cute Kids Calendar  sells for $10 each or 3 for $25 plus shipping and handling. 

MACC Fund holiday items can be purchased on the MACC Fund Web site, in the Shop for Hope online store. The ornaments can also be purchased at all Buddy Squirrel locations and all Balistreri’s Sendik’s Markets. 

Other ways to support the MACC Fund this holiday season include:

  • Visit Candy Cane Lane in West Allis, which runs Nov. 23 through Dec. 26. The event is free. Volunteers, including local celebrities, take donations which go to the MACC Fund. Additional information is available on http://candycanelanewi.com/.
     
  • Bid on the unique sports memorabilia being auctioned during the TODAY'S TMJ4 annual Sports Auction 4 MACC.  The event is Saturday, Dec. 15, from 1-3 p.m., and will be broadcast on TODAY'S TMJ4. Check out the MACC Fund’s Web site, www.maccfund.org, in the coming weeks for a sneak preview of items up for bid.
