MCW’s Community Giving Campaign begins today

Sept. 30, 2013 College News - The Medical College of Wisconsin’s Community Giving Campaign, which supports both the United Way and the United Performing Arts Fund (UPAF) workplace giving campaigns, begins today, and runs through Oct. 11.

Both organizations offer several ways to contribute, including payroll deduction.  Payroll deductions will begin on Jan. 1, 2014, and will end on Dec. 1, 2014. 

There will be a daily raffle to win one of the luncheons listed below with a member of MCW’s leadership for all Medical College employees who donate to the Community Giving Campaign: 

  1. Lunch with John R. Raymond, Sr., MD, at Bluemound Country Club, Eddie Martini’s or the University Club. The winner will be able to bring three guests.  (5 winners will be chosen)
  2. Lunch with Joseph Kerschner, MD, at Eddie Martini’s.  The winner will be able to bring thee guests.  (1 winner will be chosen)
  3. Lunch with Ravi Misra, PhD, at Café Hollander.  The winner will be able to bring one guest.  (1 winner will be chosen) 
  4. Lunch with Mark Lodes, MD, at Westmoor Country Club.  The winner will be able to bring four guests. (1 winner will be chosen)
  5. Lunch with Daniel DeBehnke, MD, at Ristorante Bartolotta.  The winner will be able to bring four guests. (1 winner will be chosen)

In addition, there will be a special Leadership Giving Level Raffle on Friday, Oct. 11, for two Green Bay Packers tickets to Lambeau Field on Sunday, Dec. 8, to see the Packers play the Atlanta Falcons.  The tickets have been generously donated by Kathryn Kuhn, Vice President for Government and Community Relations.  To qualify for the drawing, you must make a United Way pledge of $1,200 or more by 5:00 p.m. on Oct. 11.  The raffle winner must agree that they will personally use the tickets for the Dec. 8 Packers game; tickets cannot be sold or gifted.  An alternate name will be drawn if the winner is unable to attend the Dec. 8 game.

All employees that donate to the campaign by Oct. 11 will be entered into a raffle drawing for prizes that include a Boswell Books gift card, Admirals ticket vouchers and UPAF Member Group Performance ticket vouchers.
